Rupa Beach is Malinska’s central city beach, partly sandy and partly paved. It is surrounded by a rich green park, which has become an integral part of the beach’s charm. Nearby, you will find shops, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors, and bakeries. An additional feature is a children’s playground, making it ideal for families with kids. The beach is equipped with showers and changing cabins, and during the summer season, it is monitored by lifeguards. It is also accessible for people with disabilities. For many years, Rupa Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag, signifying exceptionally clean waters and a high standard of care for the beach and its visitors.
Draga Beach is a fantastic concrete beach located below the Hotel Malin. Children and young people will especially enjoy the water park with a slide, while the ever-popular beach volleyball court is also available. After swimming and sunbathing, visitors can refresh themselves at the various dining establishments, offering something to suit every taste.
Located in the center of Malinska, between Rova Beach and Draga Beach, Vrtača is a smaller pebble beach, partially paved. It is nestled in a peaceful bay and surrounded by a pine forest, offering a pleasant shade from the sun. Nearby, you’ll find restaurants and sports facilities, adding to the beach’s appeal.
Vantačić and Valica are lesser-known beaches, ideal for those who enjoy secluded, rocky shorelines. Vantačić Beach is a mix of pebbly and predominantly rocky terrain with concrete sunbathing platforms. Although somewhat hidden, several nearby restaurants and bars ensure refreshments are always within reach. Just a short distance away in the next bay lies Valica Beach, another tranquil spot perfect for relaxation.
